Festival of the Future’s “Step Up”, “Moshiach in Me” Programs in Four languages, 4000 Homes and Locations

This year’s Festival of the Future campaign took a major leap forward with “Step Up!”, a next-level Moshiach Seudah program that reached over 300 Chabad Houses. Together with the “Moshiach in Me” program that went to 3,200 Anash families, and tens of thousands of individuals across 43 countries and more than 100 cities, tens of thousands of people experienced an enhanced Moshiach Seudah. 


“It was an amazing and excellent program: professional, innovative, relevant with great visual aids - the booklets and leaders guide were outstanding!” said Rabbi Dovie Kivman, shliach in Erie, Pennsylvania.


Concluding its fourth year, Festival of the Future, a project of Merkos 302’s Moshiach Office, offered four language versions of a structured, inspiring Seudah experience. “Step Up!”, the flagship edition tailored for Chabad House communities, featured a leader’s handbook, participant handouts, and dynamic discussion prompts crafted to transform the Seudah into a true springboard for year-round Moshiach conversations.


“The Rebbe taught that preparing for Geulah isn’t just a belief—it’s a way of life,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302. “Festival of the Future was built on that foundation: to create experiences that shift the way people think and speak about Moshiach. Whether it’s a family around the table or a roomful of first-timers at a Chabad House, the goal is the same—to make Geulah real, relevant, and central to Jewish life today.”


The program proved most powerful in small group settings, where it sparked intimate, roundtable conversations and personal reflection. 


“It was so engaging from beginning to end,” reported one shliach. “There was even a woman—usually not the engaged type—chatting with my wife at the buffet during the niggunim. But the moment the singing ended, she cut the conversation short and said, ‘I don’t want to miss even one minute of this program.’”


“Our vision was to elevate the Moshiach Seudah into an annual highlight at every Chabad House. An experience so compelling that even Jews who know little about Moshiach would find it interesting, relevant, and impactful,” said Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302, “That’s exactly what we saw this year.”


The movement didn’t stop with adults. Over 24 schools adopted the “Moshiach in Me” farbrengen family edition Moshiach Seudah program by Myshliach, bringing the message of Moshiach into homes across 16 Anash communities in America. A total of 3,200 families partook in the experience, facilitated by an anonymous donor who subsidized 95% of the costs. 


“This was perfect for our Moshiach Seudah! I ordered five family editions and gave them to the kids around the table. The niggun with the accompanying story was spot on—engaging for all ages, toichendik, and well selected,” shared one mother from Houston, Texas.


While launched to mark Acharon Shel Pesach this year, the “Step Up!” program is a year-round Moshiach discovery experience—ideal for special events, farbrengens, Kabbalah nights, and more.
